What Information Do We Collect About Our Customers?

Referrer/Referees and Gifting: If you choose to use our referral or gifting services to tell a friend or someone else about our site or send them order(s) of Company product(s), we will ask you for your friend’s or that person’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend or that person email confirming that their gift order is being processed. Your friend may contact us at email@example.com to request that we remove this information from our database. In order for you to get credit for a referral who joins smartypantsvitamins.com, the person whom you refer must enter your email address or a unique password that identifies you as the referrer. We send emails on your behalf to potential referees and gift recipients. Also, if you were referred to smartypantsvitamins.com by an existing member, that member may be notified each time your order qualifies him/her for a credit.
Agents/Service Providers: We use other third parties such as a shipping company to fulfill orders, and a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. We will share your name, email address, billing or shipping address as necessary for the third party to provide that service. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for promotional purposes.
Reviews/Share This/Testimonials/Blogs: If you review a product on our site, your review may be posted on the website as well as on a partners’ network site that shares reviews with other shopping communities. When you use “Share This” to post to social networking sites or to tell your friends about our website, the information is collected by a third-party site to facilitate your postings. “Share This” allows you to enter your friend’s email address and/or import email contacts from various email service providers to send them an on-time email inviting them to visit the site. Once the email addresses are imported, you must manually click on each email address you wish to send a communication to. Please note that these third-party sites’ privacy policies govern the collection and use of the information collected on those sites. We post customer reviews/testimonials on our website, and such posts may contain personally identifiable information. We do obtain the customer’s consent via email prior to posting the review/testimonial to post their name along with their review/testimonial. If you use a blog on this website, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages.
